How much does Emailens cost?
Emailens is free for 30 checks a day. The Dev plan is $9/month for 100 checks a day, an API key, share links and version comparison. The Pro plan is $19/month for unlimited checks, the pre-send gate in CI and the AI Builder. Both paid plans can be billed yearly: Dev is $90 a year, saving $18, Pro $190 a year, saving $38. Real-device screenshots are paused while we move them to a new provider; they will be back on Dev and Pro. Every plan renders across all 21 email clients.
What happens if I send a broken email?
Everyone on your list sees the version their inbox drew, and a sent email can't be taken back. In classic Outlook a button can come out blank, in dark mode part of a logo can vanish, and where Gmail drops CSS a layout can fall apart. A customer who can't find the button may simply move on, so you may never hear about it. Every plan, free included, checks for this in all 21 inboxes before you send, and AI Fix repairs what breaks with the design kept. Checks are simulated: they catch what the engine detects, and they cannot tell whether one reader's Outlook blocks your images.
Do you charge per email client?
No. One check renders your email across all 21 supported clients, including Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail and Yahoo.

Are checks real device screenshots or simulated?
Simulated. Every check is simulated in seconds across all 21 clients, which is the loop you work in. Real-device screenshots are paused while we move them to a new provider; they will be back on Dev and Pro.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan includes 30 checks a day, all 21 email clients, the CSS compatibility report, dark mode preview, three AI Fixes and the MCP server with 7 local tools. No credit card is required.
Can I use Emailens in CI?
Yes. The CLI and the GitHub Action are open source and lint every email on every pull request: a change that breaks a client fails the build, like any other test. Pro adds the hosted pre-send gate. There is also an API and an MCP server for agent-driven workflows.
Do prices include taxes?
No. Listed prices do not include taxes. Depending on your billing country or jurisdiction, applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST will be calculated and added during checkout by our merchant of record (Polar).
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Subscriptions are billed through Polar and can be cancelled at any time from your dashboard. When you cancel, you keep your paid tier through the end of the billing period you paid for.
