Partial in Gmail, Gmail Android, Gmail iOS, Outlook (New) and 5 more, behavior differs from browsers, test before relying on it.
Outlook Classic (Word engine, supported to at least 2029) does not fully support list-style, and its replacement changes little here; see the deprecation diff.

1.Gmail, Gmail Android, Gmail iOS: list-style-image values are not supported. The entire list-style property is removed if present.
2.Outlook (New), Outlook Classic: Only list-style-type values are supported.
3.Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Mail Android, Yahoo Mail iOS, AOL Mail: list-style-image values are not supported but the rest of the list-style property is kept.

Partial support (9): Gmail, Gmail Android, Gmail iOS, Outlook (New), Outlook Classic, Yahoo Mail, Yahoo Mail Android, Yahoo Mail iOS, AOL Mail. Expect rendering quirks unique to each engine. Partial support typically means a subset of values, an ignored shorthand, or sanitizer-specific rewrites.

No support (1): Proton Mail. Plan fallbacks for these clients before relying on list-style in production sends.
